Who We Are |

Sam Schmuter
Dr. Sam Schmuter has been for the last 3
years, the CIO of software development and operations, in a
hedge fund. Sam was responsible for day-to-day operations and a
development team that developed quantitative trading models.
He is an experienced designer and developer of
trading platforms, including a platform specifically designed for
proprietary multi-model trading for a New York-based equities hedge
fund. He
brings with him a unique opportunity to leverage various domains
in the quantitative hedge fund marketplace.
Prior to his work in the hedge fund industry, he was VP of
development for Bridge Information Systems, where he managed
development activities for trading room platforms.

Anthony Leotta
Anthony (Tony) Leotta
has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam
New York. He has held various positions as a software
developer until 1999 when he assumed the role as president of Pillar
Software. At Pillar Software, he is responsible for the
software architecture, project management, and software engineering.
Some of the projects he has worked on are: RSS News Ticker,
Pillar ITS, Pillar BBuilder, Pillar Call Center,
Pillar Avalon C++ XML Application Server, Sony North America
Consumer Electronics Web Site, Avon's E-Commerce Web Site, State
Street Bank Money Market Connect Product, Basket Trading System for
Wolverine Trading, Nile Game for Simon and Schuster Interactive,
over 75 websites projects, dozens of various C++, VB and SQL
projects.
Prior to his work with Pillar Software, he was
an software engineer for Bridge Information Systems working on the
State's Street Bank Foreign Currency Trading System Project called
"Global Link".

Oleg Schatoff
Oleg Schatoff has filled various development roles in the
financial community. His work has run the gamut of applications
development, middleware design, integration and professional
services.
As a Director of Software Development at Reuters, Oleg managed a
team responsible for Bridge data feed handlers and BridgeStation
Active-X controls: Reuters Instant Messaging (RIM) and Triarch/TIB
data-plugins. Oleg's team was first to introduce the rm:// hyperlink
into News stories to launch IM converstations.
At Bridge Information systems he managed consulting projects, 3rd
party IDB feed handlers for BTRS, and the MarketVision/Telesphere
development teams.
Prior to that, he managed various MarketVision teams that designed
financial data apps (Athena charting), feedhandlers and MVLink
middleware. MVLink featured: fast data distribution (TCP/IP,
Multicast, Shared memory), product/data entitlement control,
interest-list management, cascaded architecture, 3rd party data feed
handlers, data normalization, symbology servers, load-balancing
server, optimized merging of real-time and historical data from
disparate sources. The MarketVision team was first to leverage
MVLink's Client/Server technology to bring Internet FX trading
capabilities to State Street Bank, and also first to deliver EJV
fixed income data to the Microsoft PC platform.
Oleg Schatoff received both M.E. and B.E. degrees from Cooper Union.
